Location: Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada or Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA

*Hybrid role (3-days a week in office)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Identity Access Administrator is responsible for managing user lifecycle in Okta and in various peripheral systems following compliance processes and maintaining a high standard of documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with other members of the IT team to ensure timely resolution of access requests

  • Interface with various departments to establish and document access profile standards.

  • Manage identity in Okta

  • Manage access to applications

  • Build and document access profiles according to departmental, team, and organizational needs

  • Provide operational support for Tier 1 and serve as the primary resource for escalations.

  • Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years experience in IAM required

  • Okta experience required

  • Okta Certified Administrator achievement strongly preferred

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Previous audit and compliance experience

  • Knowledge of systems security and troubleshooting

  • High attention to detail and the ability to see broader trends

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

  • Knowledge of user profiling techniques for efficient planning of on-boarding activities

  • Strong ability to problem solve

  • Solid understanding of triage methodology for user IT issues and ability to handle escalations
