Location: HQ - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA (Hybrid role, 3-days a week in office)

About the Role

This role will oversee the comprehensive end-to-end implementation and processing calculation, and payment of commission and sales incentive plans for all commissionable positions. This position will collaborate with sales leadership, sales operations, finance, and HR to ensure operational alignment and is expected to lead and mentor the Commissions Analysts on the team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills and will be comfortable taking the initiative to solve problems and help drive greater efficiency and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Commission Analysts

  • Drive and align commission plan design with operational implementation

  • Lead the quarterly process of distributing quotas and compensation plans including revising plan language where necessary

  • Manage day to day operations of our sales incentive compensation plans, ensuring payments are accurate, timely and paid in accordance with the plans

  • Be the expert resource for the various plans the team is responsible for administering and be able to effectively communicate rationale, strategy and calculations. This includes general commission rules and specific commission plan requirements for all the various plan types.

  • Provide insightful analysis to support sales incentive plan design, business goals and strategies for sales leadership, sales operations, and finance

  • Craft and maintain commission related policy and procedure documentation

  • Disciplined attention to detail and ability to adhere to tight deadlines required

  • High attention to detail and to be able to problem solve quickly

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast growing and fast paced environment while consistently delivering accuracy and sticking to deadlines

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of commission experience

  • 4+ years of management, leadership experience

  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, data modeling, etc.)

  • Experience w/ Captivate IQ or ICM tools (Xactly, Oracle Compensation, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce.com experience preferred

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
