Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA (Hybrid role, 3-days a week in office)

About the Role

The Manager of IAM Operations will be responsible for ensuring the internal policies and procedures related to the Identity and Access Management program are adhered to and operating at peak efficiency with an intense security focus. Additionally, this role will assist with the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IAM strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Management of day-to-day operations and team functions specific to Arctic Wolf’s IAM processes and tools, contribute to and implement the Identity and Access Management (IAM) vision and roadmap.

  • Manages a team of IAM technicians which are responsible for the development and support of IAM resources including users, groups, roles, audit processes and policies.

  • Manages a technical team of IAM SME’s, owns, and leads the execution of the process development and improvement roadmap and projects for multiple IAM components.

  • Communicate and implement IAM processes on time and on budget. The ability to measure and utilize IT metrics with a strict security focus.

  • Analyze IAM capabilities, playbooks and documentation and work with staff to implement sustainable improvements and updated documentation. Foster career development of direct reports via training opportunities and individual goal planning.

Who You Are

  • Working knowledge of IAM principles and technologies in a cloud first environment.

  • Ability to influence technology teams to deliver secure, efficient and scalable internal processes.

  • Experience influencing teams and stakeholders without direct authority over them.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of organization.

  • Responsible for conducting regular audits and assessments of privileged access controls to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

  • You will demonstrate excellent people and project management skills, promote teamwork and individual accountability with engagement from team members, and use available technology, tools, to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks, solve problems, and drive results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have +7 years of professional experience working in the IAM field and supporting related methodologies.

  • 5+ years leveraging key IT KPI’s and metrics.

  • 5+ years of previous management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience required.

  • Excellent organizational skills, solid attention to detail and proven project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Okta and identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.

  • 3+ years leadership experience managing a team of 5+ direct reports

  • Ability to listen for nuances, dig into details to understand systems deeply, and articulate technical details and risks to business leaders.
