Solutions Engineer [Pre & Post Sales]
Partner with customers to enable their long term success with Attio
New York
$160,000 - $180,000
What is Attio?
CRMs are at the center of the software stack for millions of businesses. They're ubiquitous and totally essential, yet current products are completely archaic, unloved and in massive need of overhaul.
This is software that millions of people use for hours and hours a day – and a $50 billion category – yet you probably can't think of a single awesome piece of software in this space.
Attio is changing that. We’re building a radically new type of CRM that is incredibly flexible and as powerful as the most advanced CRM data models, but also as intuitive, delightful and collaborative as today’s best software.
Attio is the CRM of the future: a living, breathing platform that connects with a customer’s GTM stack and evolves with them as they grow – from zero to IPO and beyond.
Why is this role important?
As a subscription software company, we only succeed when our customers can quickly learn, adopt, and get value from our product. For our highest value customers, our Solutions Engineers serve as a long-term consultative partner from their initial evaluation of Attio through to their long term success as a customer. This role directly impacts Attio’s revenue growth, retention, and product strategy and has a tremendous impact on the long term success of our company.
As an early member of the team, you’ll be expected to build tools and best practices for our pre and post-sales processes, and contribute to the long-term vision of our team. Strong candidates should be self-starters who thrive in the ambiguity and constant change of an early stage startup.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have:
2+ years B2B SaaS experience independently managing the technical side of customer relationships pre- or post-sale
Expertise architecting SaaS software deployments for clients across varied industries and use cases, and comfort working with APIs, no-code development platforms, and data model across a variety of SaaS products
Deep technical understanding of the B2B tech ecosystem, ideally in GTM Tech
Familiarity with fast-growing startups, and adaptability to work in a hybrid role that spans sales, onboarding, and success
Whose Team will you join?
You will join a small but mighty team of CRM experts that coach prospects and customers through every step of their journey with Attio. We straddle the divide between technical and non-technical teams, and are as comfortable in a room with engineers as we are with marketers and sellers. We are endlessly curious and perpetual question askers. We’re intent on understanding the ins and outs of our customer’s businesses, the needs of their teams, and the motivations of each individual we work with.
We are builders who may dabble in development, definitely tinker with iPaaS, and help push the bounds of what’s possible with Attio.
Perhaps most importantly, we are teachers and two-way conduits of information between our Attio as a company and our customers. We write, speak, and present about our product, how it works, and what our customers achieve with it. We also share stories and feedback with our product and engineering colleagues to help them understand our customers’ needs.
