About Us
Logistics is broken. Let’s fix it.
We are a group of engineers, product designers, and customer champions applying the most transformative technology of our time—AI—to one of the largest and most complex industries in the world: logistics. In our prior lives, we’ve built multi-billion dollar companies, launched products loved by thousands of customers, and powered billions of dollars of commerce.
We’re building fast, and we’re looking for intelligent, driven people with insatiable curiosity and a bias toward action. If you thrive in high-ownership environments and want to operate at the center of a fast-moving company shaping the future of logistics, read on.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will partner closely with the CEO to ensure Augment operates with focus, clarity, and momentum. Your primary responsibility will be managing priorities, schedules, communications, and logistics at the highest level of the company. This will be achieved through strong organizational systems, proactive anticipation of needs, and precise execution across a fast-moving environment. You will work closely with the executive team and cross-functional leaders, serving as a trusted partner who helps translate leadership decisions into action and keeps the organization aligned and moving forward.
What You’ll Do
Act as a trusted partner to the CEO, managing priorities, time, and information flow to maximize focus and execution.
Own complex scheduling across time zones, balancing internal priorities with external meetings and commitments.
Drive operational follow-through by tracking decisions, action items, and key initiatives to ensure progress doesn’t stall.
Plan and coordinate domestic travel with precision, discretion, and flexibility.
Support the operating rhythm of the company by helping organize leadership meetings, board prep, offsites, and company-wide updates.
Draft, edit, and manage communications, presentations, and documents that reflect the CEO’s voice and Augment’s values.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling sensitive matters with sound judgment and confidentiality.
Partner closely with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to keep the organization aligned and moving forward.
Build and maintain organizational systems and processes that improve executive effectiveness and company-wide execution.
Anticipate problems before they arise and proactively propose solutions—no task too big, no detail too small.
What We’re Looking For
Extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized; you build structure, systems, and processes that scale executive and organizational effectiveness.
4–6+ years of experience supporting a CEO or senior executive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Exceptional organizational skills with a high bar for quality; you manage multiple priorities while maintaining precision, accuracy, and follow-through.
Strong executive presence and communication skills; you are polished, well-spoken, and able to represent the CEO and company with confidence and clarity.
A strategic thought partner who can provide insights and recommendations backed by clear rationale, and who actively adopts modern tools—including AI—to work smarter and continuously improve how work gets done.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential and high-stakes information.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities shift.
Fluency with modern tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, calendar and travel systems); quick to learn new software.
A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset—you see what needs to be done and do it.
Bonus Points For
Experience working at an early-stage or scaling startup.
Experience supporting founders or executive teams in technical or product-driven organizations.
Experience coordinating across distributed teams and global time zones.
A personal standard of excellence that borders on perfectionism (in the best way).
Comfortable working primarily in Central Time (CT) or aligning closely with Central Time hours.

About Augment
At Augment, we set out to create a fully autonomous AI platform that streamlines operations and reclaims the human element in logistics. Our founders recognized a pattern: talented professionals were stuck handling manual data entry, phone calls, and repetitive tasks, instead of focusing on high-impact problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
That insight became our mission—to free logistics professionals from busywork so they can focus on what truly drives business growth. Augment isn’t just about efficiency; it’s about transforming an entire industry by empowering teams with AI-driven solutions that make logistics smarter, faster, and more adaptive.
