Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process—from prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation, and closing.
- Focus on mid-sized businesses (often 100–1,000 employees), identifying high-value opportunities within your territory or vertical.
- Consistently generate and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and referrals.
- Lead in-depth discovery calls to uncover pain points and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
- Work closely with Sales Development Representatives and marketing teams to align messaging and optimize lead generation.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and provide regular updates on sales forecasts and performance.
- Lead contract negotiations that result in mutually beneficial agreements and meet revenue targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer use cases to position your solution effectively.
- Ensure prospects understand the business impact and ROI of your solution, leading to higher conversion and retention rates.
- Consistently achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–5 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, tech, or a related industry.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Experience using tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
- Ability to run effective discovery calls and tailored product demonstrations for mid-market clients.
- Proven experience handling contract negotiations and navigating complex decision-making processes.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and explaining technical solutions to non-technical buyers.
- Strong understanding of business drivers, ROI, and how your solution aligns with customer needs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with SDRs, marketing, solutions engineers, and customer success teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
