Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to grow account value and meet revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to understand evolving client goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Handle pricing discussions, renewals, and contract negotiations in a way that balances client needs and business goals.
  • Track usage, engagement, and satisfaction metrics to proactively address risks and prevent churn.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, resolving issues and answering questions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and report regularly on account status, pipeline, and forecast.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and client developments to position your company as a strategic partner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success—ideally within a B2B or commercial setting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Understanding of sales processes, with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and negotiating renewals.
  • Ability to interpret customer data, usage metrics, and market trends to inform account strategy.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and support teams.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset to identify and address client challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
