This position oversees partner success for Button’s Marketplace vertical.
AS A DIRECTOR OF MARKETPLACE SUCCESS YOU WILL:
- Directly manage major publishers and oversee a team of in-house and outsourced resources that focus on driving revenue from Marketplace integrations.
- Primarily focus on increasing revenue via additional retailer launches via affiliate networks, the sale of marketing packages to retailers, and the increasing of promotion of Button-powered retailers and offers
- Encourage widespread adoption of Button’s product vision, partnering cross-functionally to represent the voice of the customer and effectively market Button’s product to partners.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders for Button’s partners, including periodic on-site client visits.
- Represent Button at industry conferences and events, building relationships and helping to drive additional revenue.
- Work with Button’s technical teams to ensure continued operation of Button’s product and provide 24 x 7 x 365 customer support.
- Strategically manage contract renewals, closely interfacing with Button’s finance and legal teams to ensure that Button is entering into scalable and strategically sound agreements.
- Implement and maintain best practices amongst team members, ensuring that Button’s Marketplace Success function adheres to the company’s values of “Grow, Learn, Adapt,” and that team members exemplify the principles of “Ownership, Autonomy, and Transparency” which are emblematic of what it means to be a Buttonian.
WE LOOK FOR TEAMMATES WHO HAVE:
- At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience in account management and revenue growth for high value, strategic accounts for B2B companies
- Track record of consistently (over)achieving sales and revenue goals
- Ability to negotiate, communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - including experience creating and presenting executive business reviews
- An eye to organization resulting in systematic and predictable delivery
- A creative inclination that will help you come up with out of the box ways to surprise and delight our partners
- Experience evangelizing new products
- Excels at marshaling data and analytics to present information back to client stakeholders
This position is open to applicants in the New York City area and will include approximately 2-3 days in office per week.

Compensation and Benefits:
Button provides employees with a RemotePlus workplace, which blends “work from anywhere” with in-person collaboration. Button’s total compensation package includes a base salary competitive with what is offered by similar companies in major US markets. The on-target earnings range for this role is expected to be between $165,000 - $215,000 (offered compensation is based on a number of factors including skills and experience relative to the job description listed above).
In addition, Button provides employees with a 401(k) plan and automatically contributes 3% of an employee’s salary annually. We want our employees to be truly invested in their work– each Buttonian receives stock options upon joining the company.
