This position is based out of Button’s NYC office, Monday through Friday.

AS AN IT AND SECURITY ANALYST YOU WILL:

  • Project manage Button’s security audits and responses to infosec inquiries from customers.
  • Play an integral role in Button’s first-ever SOC 2 audit and manage future audits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Button’s Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to manage security compliance and risk mitigation across the organization.
  • Own Button’s IT function, leveraging your prior experience to build a top-of-class support infrastructure.
  • Build and operate a help-desk function which will provide team members with a simple, clear means of asking for IT assistance.
  • Set and commit to SLAs to provide team members with certainty as to response and remediation time.
  • Oversee an “on-call” rotation for IT issues to ensure 24x7x365 support
  • Interface with Button’s outsourced IT service to coordinate device management and procurement.
  • Provide additional device procurement and management support to team members, both in office and remote.
  • Help manage Button’s office space.

WE LOOK FOR TEAMMATES WHO HAVE:

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting all things IT for a small business, preferably on a hybrid basis.
  • Experience participating in infosec audits, preferably SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

Compensation and Benefits:

Button provides employees with a RemotePlus workplace, which blends “work from anywhere” with in-person collaboration. Button has a “hub” workspace in New York City as well as team members distributed across the United States and beyond. Button’s total compensation package includes a base salary competitive with what is offered by similar companies in major US markets. The salary range for this role is expected to be between $51,000 - $69,000, plus bonus (offered salary is based on a number of factors including skills and experience relative to the job description listed above).

In addition, Button provides employees with a 401(k) plan and automatically contributes 3% of an employee’s salary annually.
