About the Role

The optimal candidate is a seasoned registered nurse to support employee health & safety programs and initiatives at Cityblock.

Must be a highly organized, quick learner in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, communicate exceptionally well, and work collaboratively with all team members. Knowledgeable in employee health & safety programs, OSHA compliance, and initiatives.

Responsibilities

In this role, the Senior Employee Health & Safety Nurse will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage medical clearance process for all in-person member-facing employees.

  • Track and enforce compliance of employee medical clearance requirements.

  • Evaluate medical questionnaires for respiratory protection wear, and conduct N95 mask fit test training.

  • Lead Influenza vaccination campaign.

  • Manage the staff safety events reporting system.

  • Support employees who report work related injury or illness and assist employees to file work compensation claims if deemed warranted.

  • Maintain OSHA 300 logs for work injury and illnesses.

  • Follow worker compensation cases to closure and employees are back to work in full capacity.

  • Develop and lead wellness campaigns and initiatives

  • Create Pivot tables using Google spreadsheets, process maps using Lucidchart, formulate Google documents and spreadsheets.

  • Draft employee health related policies and procedures as needed

  • Develop training on employee health & safety related topics.

  • Engage with stakeholders to proactively communicate with all relevant parties, and ensure time sensitive delivery.

  • Clinical triage of employees impacted by COVID and provide guidance for next steps.

  • Conduct COVID-19 contact tracing.

  • Develop and maintain regular communications to key leadership teams to keep apprised of performance indicators.

  • Develop streamlining of processes for vaccinations, medical clearance, and other initiative; triage and track employees with associated responses appropriately

  • Create, design, and deliver presentations.

  • Create and populate status report weekly, including weekly metrics and reporting where managed

Requirements for the Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing

  • Speciality Area: Occupational Health, Employee Health & Safety

  • Registered Nurse

  • ACTIVE RN LICENSE (preferably in a compact state)

  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 5 years clinical work experience (not as a student) in a healthcare setting, industrial setting, or health related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Employee Health responsibilities, both proactively (infection control, medical screenings, immunizations, etc) and reactively (injuries, needle sticks, infection exposure, etc)

  • Fundamental understanding of medical care standards as demonstrated through hands-on clinical experience and practice

  • Excellent and thorough documentation skills

  • Highly organized and able to effectively multitask

  • Strong understanding and competency in developing programs to meet regulatory requirements and readiness for audits and annual oversight programs and submissions.

  • Understanding of national occupational health guidelines, regulations, and standards (OSHA, CDC, NIOSH, etc)

  • Experienced with worker compensation claims filing and OSHA submissions

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Proficient with Google Suite and database tools to create Pivot Tables, track and review data

  • Competent in productivity software such as LucidChart and ClickUp or equivalent

  • Comfort with multiple communication and documentation platforms (EMR, slack, email, etc)

  • Knowledgeable in electronic medical records

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Ability to draft, implement, and monitor policies and procedures as related to employee health and safety

  • Strong communicator (verbal and written) across diverse groups of stakeholders.

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:

$86,765 - $95,000 Salary
