Coder is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Coder seeks a Senior Product Marketing Manager with experience launching new and existing products, writing product marketing and sale enablement material and presenting the information at events, webinars, videos, community meetings, etc. to engineering customers. You will partner closely with our Product and Sales Teams to align on the right messaging, sales plays, and product feature sets to drive commercial success for Coder. This position will report to the Head of Marketing.

What you will do here:

  • Develop and iterate positioning and messaging strategies that showcase Coder's unique differentiators in the market

  • Build targeted sales plays based on common use cases, collaborating closely with the sales team to identify prospects and drive pipeline growth

  • Utilize your domain knowledge and technical expertise to create compelling content tailored to our target personas, facilitating customer education, selection, and advocacy for Coder

  • Develop and maintain educational content to empower the field sales team with in-depth knowledge of product capabilities that align with various use cases

  • Become an expert on our buyers, their purchasing behaviors, and criteria. Understand the market landscape and competitively position our product. Act as the voice of the customer, providing valuable insights to internal product-focused teams

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, sales , and marketing teams to prioritize top use cases, campaigns, and promotional materials

  • Influence the pricing strategy, including packaging, price points, and bundling with other products to drive adoption and maximize revenue

  • Conduct in-depth research to gather insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies

  • Build compelling collateral, including case studies, solution briefs, blogs, to support Coder's positioning in the market

What you bring:

  • You have 4+ years in a product marketing or sales enablement-focused role

  • You have strong communication skills with the understanding and ability to articulate technology solutions to multiple audiences of varying expertise

  • You understand the SDLC and basic programming knowledge

  • Experience developing dynamic customer facing sales trainings

  • You love your tools and have 2+ years of hands on experience using HubSpot, Salesforce

  • You have experience with two or more of the following: GitHub, Figma, Notion, Mediafly and Slack

  • Experience marketing to enterprise companies where it’s second nature to think in use cases and understand the customer experience

  • You enjoy working cross-functionally with experts from Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Product

  • Experience in depth competitive analysis for technical products and managing product launches

  • You have proven success in writing blog posts and technical documents, marketing materials such as blogs, articles, web content, and more in collaboration with marketing, product, and sales, and you are able to share links to published material/presentations, etc. for review.

We would be even more excited if you have:

  • Familiarity with open source technology, developer productivity, and/or CDEs (Cloud Development Environments)

  • Experience writing for, presenting and speaking at customer facing events

  • It would be ideal if you have hands on programming experience

  • Experience with Slack

  • Startup experience

Interview Process

We believe that the interview process should be consistent and enjoyable. Our goal is to complete the entire process in two full weeks if schedules allow. During this time, you will be able to meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and a company leader.
