The EPMO & Product Operations team provides people, process and technology services that enable our internal delivery and operational teams to execute efficiently and effectively on critical cross-functional initiatives and operations. Our scope includes program management, process analysis, and business systems configuration.

This is a new role which will focus on helping teams and projects plan resource assignments, focusing especially on large, cross-functional, critical company priorities. The Resource Manager will work with engineering, product, design, program management and business representatives to develop resource plans, identify and resolve trade-offs and conflicts, develop analytics to report on resource allocation across a range of perspectives, and ensure broad communication about these activities.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, business acumen, operational PDLC experience, process re-engineering background, and excellent communication skills who can start up and run this function, building relationships across a range of stakeholders, and help build a culture of transparency and accountability.

What you'll do:

  • Create, manage and communicate company-wide technology resource plans
  • Working with subject matter leads and project managers, take estimates and build end-to-end resource plans
  • Ensure the right types of resources are allocated to the appropriately prioritized projects
  • Perform “what-if” scenarios to understand various options and trade-offs
  • Develop analytics to surface insights into how resources are being used across business functions, tech functions, goals, projects, etc.
  • Stakeholder management, can include external clients and partners
  • Cross-functional coordination within CH
  • Follow-up on action items to ensure they are completed on time and with quality
  • Engage in business process re-engineering activities focusing on efficiency and scalability
  • Assist in the definition and coaching of PMO processes
  • Proactive, concise and constant communication regarding the resource plans, trade-offs, issues, priorities, etc.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years experience planning, managing and communicating resource plans, from short-term out to a year
  • Experience executing software development projects as a project manager and/or tech lead
  • Well-versed in PMO methodologies such as Agile and Hybrid
  • Business-focused, with ability to understand a range of business areas, including not not limited to customer service and data operations
  • Tech savvy; ability to engage with technical resources and work streams to understand the work being done, and the needs thereof
  • Identify, evaluate and lead teams through prioritization activities
  • Ability to be effective in a matrix management environment
  • Bring a customer centricity focus
  • Proficient with project management tools and processes
  • Ability to speak and connect with both technical and business personnel, at all levels
  • Ability to make progress, recommendations and decisions with incomplete information
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with G-suite applications
  • Familiarity with Jira desired

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Plano, TX) or two days per week (all other locations). #LI-hybrid

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
