About the opportunity:

Join the Cribl Finance team and help us scale our finance and accounting operations with our rapid growth to being a generational company! We are looking for an experienced GL Accountant to support our rapidly growing finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for a series of interesting, high visibility projects that can help Cribl scale as we grow. This role requires an individual with a natural attention to detail, a financial and analytic mindset, and a strong desire to develop their accounting career at a rapidly growing organization.

What You'll Accomplish:

  • Assist with various areas of the Company’s operational accounting, i.e., record daily journal entries, track and prepare accruals for open POs and unbilled services, create supporting schedules, etc.
  • Prepare bank and other balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation/amortization, and monthly/ quarterly flux analyses for income statement and balance sheet accounts
  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry; and assist with processing wire payments
  • Identify and optimize current processes and process improvements
  • Recommend and assist to develop financial systems solutions and requirements for new or enhancements to existing applications
  • Maintain up-to-date and draft process documentation and procedures for all tasks
  • Own certain departmental projects and initiatives, working cross-functionally as needed
  • Fulfill external audit requests for supporting documentation
  • Other assignments as required

What You'll Bring:

  • BA or BS in accounting or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related discipline
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic
  • Capable of taking initiative and successfully prioritizing responsibilities and deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational and verbal/ written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Desire to continuously learn and take on new responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate is curious, enthusiastic, and not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
  • Confirmed commitment and alignment with our Cribl values

Bonus Points:

  • CPA with public accounting experience, preferably Big 4
  • Experience working with NetSuite or other cloud-based ERP systems, FloQast and/ or ZipHQ
  • Windows PC oriented
  • SaaS or Technology industry experience

Salary Range ($85,000 - $120,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), and equity. The total compensation offered for this position will include a commission/incentive plan.
