Your Impact
As the General Manager at Deliverect, you will be instrumental in driving the expansion and success of Deliverect in the [Specify Region, e.g., APAC] region. With full ownership of the P&L, your leadership will oversee all facets of the business, from customer acquisition and management to strategic planning and execution. This role demands a dynamic and results-driven leader who excels in SaaS sales, strategic planning, and team management to not only meet but exceed our ambitious growth targets.

A Typical Day

  • Set and drive the execution of strategic business initiatives, focusing on enterprise sales and partnerships to expand Deliverect's footprint in the region.
  • Cultivate revenue growth through existing customer relationships, employing diverse marketing channels and product strategies, while ensuring a personalized engagement approach.
  • Explore and capitalize on new business opportunities, prioritizing large business acquisitions within the region.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant groups, technology partners, business associations, and media outlets.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing teams to tailor products that support regional growth initiatives and enhance the sales cycle.
  • Regularly report on regional business activities, challenges, successes, and team performance to the broader business and key decision-makers.
  • Champion professional growth and development within the team, support recruitment processes, and promote Deliverect’s culture and values.

Your Expertise

  • Proven track record (7+ years) in general management or senior leadership roles within the SaaS and hospitality industries.
  • Demonstrated success (5+ years) in enterprise sales and managing large-scale partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the [Insert Region] restaurant, grocery, and cloud kitchen sectors, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience leveraging analytics to drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker) for performance tracking and insights.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) for efficient task management and collaboration.
  • Ability to collaborate with, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Human Resources teams daily.
  • Able to engage and nurture relationships with Restaurant groups, technology partners, industry associations, investors, media
  • Proficient in developing and executing regional growth plans, building and scaling the sales and customer success teams.
  • A history of managing regional P&L and financial performance.
  • Identifying and growing strategic partnerships and alliances within the region.
  • Overseeing product launches and go-to-market strategies within the region while conducting, continual market research and competitive analysis.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our George Street Sydney Office and 2 days of remote work. Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills being essential.
