This Role
Finch is at an inflection point where clear product direction will meaningfully accelerate the company.
We’re building systems that sit in the middle of real legal work that affects people at vulnerable moments and operators under real time pressure. We’re looking for a Founding Product Manager who’s comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, turning rough inputs into clear direction, and making high-leverage decisions that unblock teams and move the business forward.
You’ll be the first product manager at Finch, working directly with the founders, as well as engineering, design, and operations. You’ll help decide what we build, what we don’t, and how we sequence work as we scale. This is a role for someone who wants ownership, proximity to the work, and a seat at the table as the product and the company take shape.
You’ll Lead Product On:
Defining and evolving the core workflows that power our internal case management tools, helping our legal operations team move faster and handle more cases with confidence
Shaping law firm–facing surfaces that give partners visibility, control, and trust in how their cases are handled
Owning client-facing product decisions that make a complex legal process clearer, more predictable, and easier to navigate
Setting product direction for how Finch shows up across our platform, ensuring consistency and quality as we scale
Guiding the development of our emerging AI-powered features, with a focus on usefulness, reliability, and real-world impact
You’ll also help establish the foundations of product at Finch by defining how we prioritize work, make tradeoffs, measure success, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering.
You Might Be a Fit if You:
Have 5+ years of experience leading a product area at a high-velocity company
Have been responsible for defining what gets built in an early or fast-moving company
Are comfortable being the first product voice in the room and setting direction from scratch
Can take ambiguous, high-stakes problems and turn them into focused product bets
Know how to earn trust with engineering through clear thinking and follow-through
Compensation
$180,000 - $245,000 annual salary + equity
Work Location
This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week in the office.
