We’re a Seattle-based AI startup (with support for working remotely). We’ve raised $17M in seed funding. Our vision is simple: build artificial intelligences that can communicate as naturally as humans. We’re a small team of researchers and engineers with a deep focus in speech and real-time technologies. Our core model, Ultravox, is open-source. We also build a serving stack that’s optimized for very low-latency interactions.
What you’ll do
Unify the AI and Real-Time Communication (RTC) worlds by developing new techniques for running AI models in real time and streaming their outputs over WebRTC.Continuously work to reduce streaming latency across our service.Evaluate various model providers to find the best match of capabilities and performance.Build new product features for our consumer product.What we’re looking for
An incredibly strong coder with a track record of contributions to RTC apps and systems.Highly skilled with WebRTC and deploying and debugging WebRTC-based applications.Experience with tools like WebRTC Internals, Audacity, FFMpeg, and Wireshark.Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done.A great communicator and team player.No experience with AI or Large Language Models is expected; this is a great opportunity to dive in and learn this field!
