We're scaling our Sales team with customer-focused Account Executives who will take ownership of their entire sales cycle, help to build our sales motion as we grow and distinguish Greenplaces as best-in-class to prospects in a burgeoning competitive landscape.
At Greenplaces, our mission is to democratize access to sustainability for all businesses. Over 80% of global carbon emissions are in the supply chain of Fortune 500 companies, yet these businesses lack the time and expertise to achieve sustainability goals. With new climate regulation, businesses now face a requirement to report and reduce emissions. These companies cannot afford a Chief Sustainability Officer – and now turn to Greenplaces as a “Chief Sustainability Officer” in a box.
Greenplaces is growing quickly, while maintaining very strong NPS scores. Our Sales team is leading the charge in achieving our revenue goals and growing our market share as the sustainability platform of choice for mid-market companies.

What you’ll do at Greenplaces:
- Identify high-potential business verticals to develop and execute outbound strategies to engage them with Greenplaces
- Turn our marketing engagement into closed new business and happy Greenplaces customers
- Manage our sales pipeline, improving and maturing our sales process and playbook
- Define and communicate the specific benefits of Greenplaces appropriate for each customer, including making sales materials and demos
- Collect insights from prospects for our product development process
How to be successful in this role:
- Have had a closing and quota-carrying role 3+ years, while consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Be experienced in B2B SaaS, preferably in SMB and Mid-Market
- Be highly empathetic to customers, with a proven track record of long-term customer retention
- Possess the technical competency to understand Greenplaces’ software and build great relationships with highly technical prospects
- Have stellar problem-solving chops, and an enthusiasm for making a large impact early on at a start-up
- Timely responsiveness to customer needs, inquiries, and outreach
- Demonstrate accountability and consistent follow-thru, always being proactive and thinking ahead on next steps to close deals.

Compensation
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The OTE range for this position is $200,000 - $240,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, and other company perk programs.
