About the role

We are hiring an exceptional Sales Development Representative, focused on the Private Equity Market, to join our team! As an SDR at Juniper Square, you are the first point of contact. You will be responsible for both selling the value of Juniper Square as well as ensuring prospective clients are qualified before handing them off to our Account Executives. What you'll do

  • Generate qualified meetings & sales pipeline within target accounts in the Private Equity market

  • Drive a consistent demand generation cadence for good territory coverage and nurture future prospects

  • Identify the right companies and the relevant contacts to reach out to with targeted messaging

  • Maintain a high level of daily touch points including calls, emails & LinkedIn to connect with target personas

  • Qualify prospects against established criteria before scheduling meetings for the sales team

  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of outbound qualified appointments to support our pipeline needs

  • Use Salesforce, Outreach, and other systems to capture and track activities, tasks, and meetings

  • Participate in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs

  • Develop a strong foundation of knowledge of our products, services, and target markets alongside sales skills for career progression

Qualifications

  • Coachable and excited about learning

  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment

  • Internal motivation and desire to succeed in a goal-based role

  • A strong passion and interest in Private Equity

  • Experience in Private Equity is a plus

  • Prior professional experience, interacting with internal or external C-level executives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong business acumen

  • A go-getter, with a "can do" attitude

  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables

  • Ability to carry on professional written & verbal conversations with the experienced professionals we sell to

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented

  • Exceptional time management and prioritizing abilities

  • Any sales experience is a plus

Compensation

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, commissions, equity, and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary target for this role is $58,500. Juniper Square is not accepting applications from candidates based in Washington, California or New York at this time.
