About Us
Legora is on a mission: to redefine how legal work gets done. From the very start we have been very clear about the fact that we are not building a solution for lawyers, we are building it with them, because it is the only way to make sure it gets done the right way; working side-by-side every step of the way.
Our AI-native workspace empowers legal professionals not just to work faster - but to ask better questions, unlock new insights. Every day, we push the boundaries of legal tech to make complex processes smarter, faster, and more human. From thousands of documents analysed in minutes to intelligent workflows designed in collaboration with leading practices, we’re turning possibility into reality.
Today we are trusted by global firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Bird & Bird and Linklaters in over 40 countries, but we have no plans on stopping here. We ship fast, we iterate effectively, and we scale rapidly - not by accident, but by design.
When you join Legora, you become part of a team that believes "good enough" isn’t good enough and that the way to win is together, by empowering lawyers to do their best work with technology that truly understands them. If you’re excited by building from first principles, working with exceptional people, and accelerating change in a high-stakes, high-impact domain—then this is the moment and the place.
We’re not just shaping the future of legal tech — we’re defining it. Ready to join us in building the intelligent future of law?
The Role
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to build the internal communications engine that keeps Legora aligned, informed, and moving fast as we scale globally. You will own our internal comms strategy, channels, and cadence — turning complexity into clarity, and strategy into shared understanding.
Your mandate is simple:
Maximise clarity, alignment, and momentum across a fast-moving organisation — with minimal friction.
Reporting to the VP Communications, you’ll work closely with the leadership team, Head of Operations and VP Marketing, and teams across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Legal to ensure decisions land well, context is shared early, and our culture stays strong as we grow.
What You’ll Do
Internal Communications Strategy & Operating Rhythm
Define and execute an internal communications strategy: audiences, messages, channels, and tone.
Create a scalable comms operating rhythm (weekly updates, leadership notes, All-Hands/Townhalls, Q&A formats).
Ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time — without noise.
Leadership & Change Communications
Partner with leadership to shape narratives and craft clear updates on priorities, decisions, and progress.
Lead communications for organisational change: re-orgs, new processes, policy changes, major launches.
Build trust through transparency and consistency, especially during ambiguity.
Channels, Content & Knowledge Flow
Own and continuously improve internal communications channels (e.g., Slack, Notion)
Produce crisp, useful content: announcements, FAQs, decision summaries, “what changed” notes, playbooks.
Create templates and standards that help teams communicate clearly and consistently.
Culture, Engagement & Internal Storytelling
Capture and amplify what matters: wins, learnings, customer impact, and how we work.
Strengthen culture and collaboration across teams and geographies through thoughtful storytelling and rituals.
Track engagement and effectiveness, then iterate based on what people actually need.
Who You Are
You’re driven by clarity, pace, and simplicity. You are an excellent listener, and you love taking messy inputs and making them understandable — without losing nuance. You thrive in fast-changing environments, bring structure to chaos, and have strong judgment on what to communicate, when, and how.
You are:
A sharp, confident writer — equally strong in short-form (Slack) and long-form (narratives, memos).
Highly proactive and independent, with excellent prioritisation.
Comfortable working closely with leadership.
Curious about AI and excited to use tools to communicate smarter (not louder).
What We’re Looking For
3-5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications or similar roles in high-growth environments.
Proven ability to run internal comms across a cross-functional organisation.
Strong project management skills and a process-oriented mindset.
Excellent English communication skills.
Familiarity with tools like Slack/Notion/Google Workspace; comfort building systems that scale.
Why This Role Matters
This is a foundational role. As Legora grows quickly, internal communication becomes the difference between focus and confusion, momentum and drag, alignment and fragmentation.
You’ll build the infrastructure for clarity — so a small, exceptional team can keep operating with the speed and precision typically reserved for much larger organisations.
Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer

We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work.
