About Us

Legora is on a mission: to redefine how legal work gets done. From the very start we have been very clear about the fact that we are not building a solution for lawyers, we are building it with them, because it is the only way to make sure it gets done the right way; working side-by-side every step of the way.

Our AI-native workspace empowers legal professionals not just to work faster - but to ask better questions, unlock new insights. Every day, we push the boundaries of legal tech to make complex processes smarter, faster, and more human. From thousands of documents analysed in minutes to intelligent workflows designed in collaboration with leading practices, we’re turning possibility into reality.

Today we are trusted by global firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Bird & Bird and Linklaters in over 40 countries, but we have no plans on stopping here. We ship fast, we iterate effectively, and we scale rapidly - not by accident, but by design.

When you join Legora, you become part of a team that believes "good enough" isn’t good enough and that the way to win is together, by empowering lawyers to do their best work with technology that truly understands them. If you’re excited by building from first principles, working with exceptional people, and accelerating change in a high-stakes, high-impact domain—then this is the moment and the place.

We’re not just shaping the future of legal tech — we’re defining it. Ready to join us in building the intelligent future of law?

About Legora

Legora is building the next generation of legal technology. We partner with some of the world’s most ambitious legal teams and are scaling rapidly across markets.

Our growth is global by default. New markets, new products, new structures — all moving fast. To support that, we are building a strong, modern financial foundation where tax is not an afterthought, but a core capability. That is why we are now looking for a Tax Manager to join our finance team in either our Stockholm or NYC office. Hopefully that is where you come in.

What you will be doing

This role sits at the heart of Legora’s international growth. As Tax Manager, you will work hands-on with complex, cross-border tax matters and help turn that complexity into clarity for the business. You will partner closely with senior finance leadership and play a key role in scaling how tax works at Legora — globally, not just locally.

In practice, this means you will:

  • Own and execute key parts of Legora’s global tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions

  • Support the preparation of GAAP tax provision, tax reserves, and related disclosures, with a strong international component

  • Coordinate international tax compliance by working closely with local advisors across regions

  • Support transfer pricing, intercompany arrangements, and cross-border transactions as the business scales

  • Partner closely with Legal (including the U.S. and Ireland), Finance, and external advisors on structuring and commercial matters

  • Assess the tax implications of international expansion, product launches, and commercial initiatives

  • Help design and implement scalable tax processes and documentation that work globally, not just locally

  • Create visibility into global tax positions, risks, and opportunities so leadership can make informed decisions

  • Act as a trusted tax partner to Accounting, Treasury, HR, and other stakeholders across the company

Who we’re looking for

This is a role for someone who enjoys operating in motion. You are comfortable in complexity, curious by nature, and motivated by ownership rather than narrow scope. You don’t just want to run tax — you want to help build how it works.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in tax, with meaningful exposure to international and cross-border matters

  • Experience in a multinational environment, either in-house or at a leading accounting firm

  • A solid understanding of international tax concepts, transfer pricing, and intercompany structures

  • Experience supporting GAAP tax provision and working with auditors

  • The ability to translate technical tax topics into clear, decision-ready guidance

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, scaling environment where priorities evolve

  • A builder mindset — you enjoy improving systems, processes, and ways of working

Why this role matters

Tax at Legora is not a back-office function — it is an enabler of global scale. How we structure, expand, and commercialize our product depends on getting this right.

In this role, you will:

  • Help shape how Legora operates across jurisdictions as we grow internationally

  • Be closely involved in expansion, structuring, and cross-border decision-making

  • Contribute to building a tax function designed for scale, clarity, and speed — not bureaucracy

We offer you the chance to be part of something truly amazing

This is a chance to join Legora at a pivotal moment and grow alongside a global company that is still early in its journey.

Along the way, you will:

  • Work with highly ambitious, thoughtful people who care deeply about building something exceptional

  • Have real ownership, trust, and visibility from day one

  • Help build foundations that will support Legora’s growth for years to come

If this sounds like you — and like something you’d be excited to grow into — we can’t wait to meet you.
