About the Role

We are looking for an Event & Field Marketing Manager to drive and execute our event marketing strategy across trade shows, community events, virtual experiences, and related marketing campaigns. This role will be critical in building brand awareness, generating leads, and enabling sales through high-impact field marketing initiatives.

This role will be based out of our NYC office (near Astor Place).

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, execute, and attend trade shows, industry conferences, community meetups, and customer or prospect dinners to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Oversee company onsite planning and coordination, ensuring seamless internal events and team gatherings.
  • Own the strategy and execution of virtual events, including webinars, live demos, and workshops.
  • Manage event logistics, sponsorships, booth design, and staffing, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure compelling messaging and engagement strategies.
  • Develop and execute event-related campaigns across email, social media, direct mail, and digital advertising to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Partner with sales teams to provide tools, content, and resources that support field marketing efforts and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Ensure alignment between event marketing and demand generation goals, maintaining consistent messaging and branding.

Performance & Budget Management

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of events and campaigns, providing regular reporting on lead generation, pipeline impact, and ROI.
  • Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform go-to-market strategies and product marketing efforts.
  • Manage the field marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, and optimizing spend to maximize ROI.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including event planners, agencies, and other service providers.
  • Continuously evaluate new opportunities for events, sponsorships, and partnerships that align with company objectives.

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation, preferably in B2B SaaS or developer-focused companies.
  • Proven ability to manage trade shows, community events, and virtual events end-to-end.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with lead generation strategies, sales enablement, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on event success and ROI.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work closely with sales, product marketing, and demand generation teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with high ownership and autonomy.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with event marketing platforms (e.g., Splash, Goldcast, ON24, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with database, data streaming, or cloud infrastructure technologies.

Total Compensation (salary and variable bonus): $140,000 - 170,000/year + equity
