Founding Engineer

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $250-400k base plus generous equity

Location: On-site in SF, hybrid, or remote

About the Role

We're looking for engineers to help us build the infrastructure to clone and gamify the internet. We will cover a large fraction of the internet and all the types of work one may perform in it. This is an extremely novel problem with for which there is little prior work to reference, so the best type of engineer for this role is someone excited to find inventive solutions to new problems.

Example things to do

• • Design and implement pipelines for cloning the internet
• • Increase throughput and reduce latency of our distributed agent runner
• • Find clever ways to use AI to analyze the work of other AIs
• • Identify and solve performance bottlenecks in our task factory

What We're Looking For

• • A cool history of projects we can look at
• • Ability to operate in any layer of the stack
• • Good intuition on when and how to use AI
• • Trauma from past engineering decisions that didn't scale
• • Nice to have: fluency in Typescript, experience with agents and benchmarks
