Stories like these aren’t rare for Scribe’s growing community of raving fans. They’re passionate about sharing what they know, care deeply about efficiency and productivity, and want everyone to know that Scribe is the best tool for capturing and sharing knowledge.

One of our raving fans’ favorite places to share their love of Scribe is online. Their love pours in as comments, messages, reviews and videos - but we need someone on our team to return that love and make our raving fans feel seen, heard, and appreciated.

If Scribe’s raving fans are already spreading their love for Scribe on their own, imagine what we could accomplish together if we supported them on their quest to bring Scribe to everyone and anyone who could benefit from it?

This is where you come in!

We’re looking for someone to lead Scribe’s community program to develop an innovative community experience that delivers against Scribe’s ambitious business goals to 3x our user base by end of year.

We’re looking for someone with new, innovative ideas about how we can make every raving fan feel like they’re wrapped in a blanket of Scribe love. Someone who is obsessed with the craft of building community, who avidly listens to podcasts on the topic and reads every blog post they can find on how the likes of Notion, Figma and Coda grew through community. Someone who is excited to strategize at the 10,000ft view, but also enjoys working at the 10ft view with scrappy, zero-to-one strategies to bring new projects to life.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a community strategy that aligns with Scribe’s ambitious business goals
  • Develop, report and own KPIs and targets for community growth and engagement that are aligned with broader business goals
  • Work cross functionally across marketing, growth and product to integrate our community strategy with broader teams and goals
  • Develop strategies to grow the community and retain current members across a variety of surface areas including: social media, e-mail, dedicated community platforms and more.
  • Lead and mentor junior community specialists, providing them with strategic guidance
  • Represent the community’s voice in internal discussions with key stakeholders across the organization
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on community sentiment and feedback and report this information upward
    • Deliver actionable feedback for internal teams (i.e. marketing and product) from community insights

  • You have community in your DNA. You’ve built communities before (maybe in real life, maybe online, maybe both). Looking back, you realize you’ve been a community organizer across many areas of your personal and/or professional life. Wherever you are or go, it doesn’t take long before you find yourself a part of a community.
  • You’re an innovative and strategic thinker. You’re ready to look for new opportunities, set ambitious goals, and execute against them. You’re not afraid to try new things and develop new projects. You’re always thinking about the 10,000ft view: you’re constantly iterating on the roadmap for your strategy so that it’s aligned with current and future business goals. You can plan and anticipate the needs of your team in advance, and start working towards them before they happen.
  • You’re a visionary leader. You have big ideas and can motivate and mentor a team to execute against your vision. You inspire and empower the people around you so that you can go further together.
  • You have an ownership mindset and are excited to take responsibility for your projects and make decisions that will lead to their outcomes.
  • You love and use Scribe. You love process documentation and have used Scribe (presently or in the past). We’re looking for someone who deeply understands our community of raving fans — you might already be a raving fan yourself!
  • You’re an empathetic people person. Building community is all about connecting with people. You love talking to people, hearing their stories, and sharing yours. You’re the sort of person that finds it easy to make new friends anywhere you go.


  • Experience using Scribe is required
  • 4-6 years of marketing, social media, community or related experience in B2B SaaS. Bonus points if you have experience in horizontal productivity SaaS tools.
  • 1-2 years experience managing direct reports
  • 1-2 years experience building or managing a community for a B2B business

$100k - $160k USD + Equity + Benefits
