📌 About the Role

Every enterprise is trying to answer the same question: how do we use AI to fundamentally transform the way we work?

They're looking to AI-native startups for more than just technology — they're looking for trusted partners who can help them navigate one of the most important technology shifts in decades. They need a strategy, a roadmap, and a clear understanding of where AI can create the greatest impact.

This is where Scribe comes in.

Scribe Optimize gives enterprises something that hasn't existed before: a continuous, real-time view of how work actually happens across their organization. It transforms operational complexity into a system of record for work, helping leaders understand where time is spent, where friction exists, and where AI can drive meaningful business outcomes.

What once required months of interviews, workshops, and consulting engagements can now be surfaced in days. For the first time, organizations can see how work actually flows across teams, systems, and processes—and uncover opportunities that were previously invisible.

This is where you come in.

As Scribe's Founding AI Transformation Strategist, you'll help the world's largest companies turn these insights into action. You'll advise executives on AI strategy, guide enterprise transformation initiatives, and help organizations move from experimentation to measurable business impact.

You'll become the face of Scribe's thought leadership on enterprise AI transformation—speaking at events, creating frameworks and content, and helping shape how business leaders think about the future of work. You'll be part strategist, part operator, and part futurist: translating emerging AI capabilities into practical transformation plans that executives can actually execute.

This is a founding role. You'll own strategic customer relationships, define the engagement model, develop the playbook, and help build a new category at the intersection of AI, operations, and enterprise transformation. As AI reshapes how organizations work, you'll be on the front lines helping define what that future looks like.

🛠️ What You'll Do

  • Lead engagements end-to-end with strategic enterprise customers: validate Optimize findings with stakeholders, build the business case, present ROI to executive sponsors, scope implementation projects, and drive outcomes through to completion

  • Walk into C-suite conversations with a data-backed point of view and establish credibility fast – advising on AI roadmap and the art of the possible with Scribe, Optimize, and agent-driven workflows (not demonstrating the product)

  • Navigate the last mile of transformation — the stakeholder alignment, change management, and org dynamics that don't show up in the data but determine whether a finding becomes an outcome

  • Measure before-and-after impact using Optimize's change-over-time data and report results back to executive sponsors across quarterly cycles

  • Build the playbook: as the first person on this team, define what best-in-class engagement delivery looks like and create the frameworks that let this function scale

  • Feed every customer engagement back into Scribe's product roadmap — surface what's blocking value, what's unlocking it, and what the product needs to learn

  • Act as Scribe's credible external voice on enterprise AI transformation, influencing how customers think about the space, not just what they do with our product

🔍 What We're Looking For

  • Has 5+ years leading enterprise business transformation engagements at a top-tier consulting firm (MBB or equivalent) and knows what it takes to get from diagnostic to scaled outcome

  • Has direct AI transformation experience: has advised on AI roadmap, organizational readiness, and implementation strategy at the enterprise level, not just in theory

  • Brings executive presence and strategic storytelling: can walk into a C-level conversation, establish credibility quickly, and build momentum around transformation

  • Has a developed, defensible point of view on enterprise AI adoption: knows how to identify high-leverage opportunities, how to structure the work, and how to get organizations to actually move

  • Is energized by ambiguity and can structure a path forward without a fully-formed brief; has mastered the traditional consulting motion and is excited to move faster in a startup environment

✨ Nice to Have

  • Engineering background or strong enough technical fluency to either build agentic workflows, or collaborate directly with customer engineering teams on agent-powered workflow builds

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role at a SaaS company (CS, Solutions, or Strategic Accounts)

📍 Location

San Francisco (hybrid, 3 days per week in-office), or New York (fully remote).

Travel is expected up to 30% of the time; frequency will vary by account portfolio.

💰 Compensation

Salary varies by location. All full-time employees receive equity in Scribe. Final offers depend on experience, scope, and internal parity.

🎁 Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents

  • Flexible paid time off and company holidays

  • 401(k)

  • Paid parental leave

  • Daily catered lunch (SF office)

  • Commuter benefits

  • Home office stipend
