What are we looking for?

As a Federal Sales Representative, you must have deep knowledge of Federal Sales and experience running a Federal sales territory (Large Civilian Agencies) including pipeline development, territory planning, account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short term, mid-term, long-term opportunity management. As a Federal Sales Representative, you will be tasked with building out a direct sales channel as well as various partner led solution channels including managed security services. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to design and implement successful Lead Generation and Go-to-Market campaigns, and drive overall sales excellence in a competitive market.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling Endpoint security based products (such as malware/exploit prevention, anti-virus, whitelisting as well as advanced data loss protection products).

What you will do:

  • Establish access and maintain active relationships with key Federal Civilian and DOD decision makers (across all IT and senior executive levels) in industry, partners, and customers to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
  • Identify, develop and execute account strategy to close new business opportunities and expanding revenue with customers across the assigned region; independently and cooperatively.
  • Scope, negotiate and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
  • Target and gain access to decision makers in key prospect accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Work cooperatively with partners to leverage their established account presence and relationships.
  • Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant prospect information using Salesforce.com
  • Consistently meet, or exceed sales quota
  • Prepare and provide accurate forecasts to management on a weekly basis

What skills and knowledge you should bring?

  • BS technical degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably in the Federal space selling endpoint security solutions
  • Deep knowledge of current security solutions
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders.
  • Enterprise sales experience with an actionable Rolodex of decision makers
  • Superb organizational and reporting skills
  • Experience with growing the sales enablement function to support sales in a rapidly evolving and competitive marketplace
  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above-quota performance
  • Prior startup experience
  • Experience working with channel partners and a strong understanding of a channel-centric GTM approaches

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some locations, a different pay range may apply. If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting process. You can also reach out to the recruiter with any questions.
Base Salary Range
$116,000$159,500 USD
