What are we looking for?

We work with technology-enabled enterprises that face complex trust, safety, and security challenges to enhance the readiness of enterprise leadership teams by delivering sound security strategies that acknowledge the emerging challenges associated with a changing world and global operating footprint.

We aim to build a safer and more secure technological future with solution-oriented, creative thinkers that share our values. We are always teaching, always learning, and always humble. Each of us possesses a unique perspective, but we share a sense of responsibility to consider how our use of technology might affect society and what might be coming around the corner.

We are looking for an established professional with experience as an operator for large-scale enterprise networks, including the underlying technology and practical realities of business and security operations, who wants to deliver this expertise through a consulting and professional services model as part of an interdisciplinary team.

What will you do?

  • Provide leadership and management of client advisory relationships, developing advisory capabilities that meet current and future client needs, producing work products that meet quality standards, and providing thought leadership in one's area of practice.
  • Support the development and growth of client relationships by demonstrating authoritative expertise in one's field of practice, while successfully identifying and remediating issues and challenges as they emerge in the course of providing advisory services.
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate client needs that align with our advisory capabilities and to foster the development of new project opportunities in partnership with colleagues.
  • Demonstrate mastery in communications with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and partners, including skilled communication in both one and two-way information sharing settings (virtual/IRL, group/1-1), adapting strategy as appropriate to act as a facilitator, expert, manager, coach, or team member.
  • Drive effective collaboration within and across client engagement areas, providing effective coordination of routine, cross-cutting, and complex decisions, and fostering productive ideation and conceptualization of novel approaches.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • A customer-first mindset, coupled with a passion for building strong relationships and managing expectations.
  • A core set of consulting skills around client management, communication, collaboration, analysis and problem solving.
  • Skill in planning and managing consulting engagements from inception to closeout, to include successful task management of multidisciplinary teams of experts and analysts in the creation of high-quality deliverables.
  • Skill in determining how a security system should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes.
  • Skill in identifying measures or indicators of inefficient system security design and the actions needed to improve or correct, relative to the goals of the business.
  • Skill in relating cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).
  • Ability to execute analytic approaches to technology solutions for which information is incomplete or for which no precedent exists, bringing novel ideas to the table for our clients.
  • Ability to identify appropriate technology use cases for a given application or environment while integrating client requirements.
  • Ability to recognize the role risk management places in scaling security practices in client organizations.
  • Ability to design relevant scoping questions and assessment items for consumption by client engineering and technical teams.

What additional skills will make me stand out for this role?

  • Prior experience with host-based endpoint agent or SIEM security solutions.
  • Proficiency in REST API scripting and familiarity with scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, or BASH.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Certification in Cloud Computing (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
