The Role

SentinelOne Commercial Engineers are the go-to technical pre-sales experts for our midmarket customers. The Commercial SE’s leverage their superb SentinelOne product knowledge, to assist our Commercial Account Executives in converting interested potential customers into long-standing clients. What are we looking for?

This individual will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives. Further, the ideal candidate should also be able to function as a business, information, and infrastructure architect in a pinch, at a minimum.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Ideally, 2-5 years of experience in cyber security and specifically endpoint cyber defense and some experience in customer facing, sales-oriented environments, distributors or resellers.
  • Be able to evangelize the SentinelOne singularity platform: build trust with a prospect's technical teams, by thoroughly demonstrating how the SentinelOne technology works and provides value.
  • Experience in cyber security, preferably endpoint cyber defense.
  • Have an understanding of the endpoint security market and demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences.
  • Use concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, product demonstrations and conversations with both executives and technical audiences.
  • Must have demonstrable experience successfully selling to the small to midsize customers.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd-level technical support throughout the whole pre-sales cycle.
  • Must have basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
  • Drive the Evaluation/POC process
  • Travel 25-50% possible.
  • Fluency in German and English required, other languages are a plus.
