The RCM Analyst- Credits Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and resolving credit balances on member accounts. The responsibilities include analyzing and rectifying credit balances, efficiently processing refund requests, and ensuring documentation of all transactions for audit and regulatory compliance. The specialist will collaborate with RCM team members and studio teams to address discrepancies and maintain accurate account balances, all while demonstrating excellent communication skills. This role is essential in supporting Tend's financial goals and providing a seamless experience for our members.

Duties may include:

  • Act as the pivotal point in managing credit balances on member accounts.
  • Analyze and resolve credit balances on accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate and process voluntary and involuntary refund requests efficiently, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Document all transactions meticulously, generating detailed reports for audit purposes and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with our studio teams to rectify discrepancies and sustain precise account balances.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by RCM leadership

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience in medical or dental office setting
  • Detail Oriented
  • Extremely Organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of dental terminology will be considered a plus
  • Use of Dentrix software will be considered an advantage

Daily / Weekly Tasks:

  • Weekly - Working closely with the team lead of RCM to Deliver weekly reporting to RCM leadership on status credits balances (Insurance IBV Audit)
  • As Needed - Provide coaching and feedback to RCM teammates
  • Weekly - provide feedback to RCM leadership re: areas of slippage in weekly leadership standup
