We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of Tend’s accounting processes. You’ll manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations, collaborating closely with our accounting team to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with accounting systems, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset will set you up for success. Whether it’s reconciling statements or resolving vendor inquiries, you’ll be essential in keeping our financial operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry to support team operations during our organizational transformation.
  • Managing accounts payable using software such as Cashflow 360 (bill.com) and/or

    Ramp.com.

  • Vendor setup and payments.

  • Procurement of one-off purchases as needed.

  • Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.

  • Ensuring bills and payroll are paid on time while adhering to internal procedures.

  • Processing due invoices for payments and comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of

    payment, and other charges.

  • Recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience.

  • Experience with Cashflow 360 (bill.com) and/or Ramp.com.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, though it doesn’t have to be in finance.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform data entry with precision.

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic and collaborative team.
