We’re continuing to grow quickly and looking for the best of the best to come join our team.Tend is seeking a Growth Marketing Director to lead our performance-driven marketing strategy and execution. This role will oversee new member acquisition, paid and organic channels, site optimization, and conversion improvements to drive sustainable growth. You will manage a team of agency partners to maximize impact while maintaining efficiency.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a scalable growth marketing strategy, optimizing performance across paid, organic, partnerships, SEO, CRO, and site experience.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing growth marketing team, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and pacing for paid and organic marketing efforts.
- Own and improve key performance indicators (PAC, LTV, CPA, CPC, CPM, conversion rates).
Acquisition & Paid Media
- Direct paid media efforts (Google, Meta, etc.), managing agencies and in-house execution.
- Test and iterate on creative and audience segmentation for maximum ROI.
- Implement a test-and-learn roadmap, optimizing paid and organic campaigns based on data insights.
SEO, Local Search & Web Optimization
- Optimize local search and SEO, including GBP (Google Business Profile) and location listings.
- Lead website management efforts, improving UX, booking funnel conversion, and page optimizations.
- Oversee CRO (conversion rate optimization) and A/B testing to improve campaign and website performance.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Impact
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Member Experience teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Work closely with Finance & Commercial leadership to understand member acquisition trends and media spend efficiency.
- Identify, assess, and implement marketing technology and data tools to enhance growth efforts.
About You
- Data-driven and highly analytical, with deep knowledge of marketing performance metrics (CPA, LTV, conversion rates, etc.).
- Proven experience leading growth marketing and demand generation in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong SEO, paid media, and web optimization expertise.
- Exceptional project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead through influence, using data and research to drive decision-making.
- Experience in B2C, D2C, multi-location, or healthcare-related industries preferred.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Looker, GTM, Excel, and marketing automation platforms.
- P&L experience is a plus.
