Duties Include:

Act as a primary dental care providers for individuals and groups of patients. Provide emergency and multidisciplinary comprehensive oral health care. Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, filling cavities, correcting bite issues, and overcrowding, and performing or scheduling root canals or specialized dental procedures. Perform regular cleaning and other preventative procedures, establishing a plan for the patient to have or continue to have better dental hygiene. Direct health promotion and disease prevention activities. Collaborate with orthodontic partners and non-clinical staff to optimize patient qualify of care.

Work Schedule(days/hours per week): 40+

Degree Required: Doctor of Dental Surgery

Licenses: Requires license to practice dentistry in New York.

New York pay range
$700—$850 USD

Base Pay is $52 - $59 per hour

Fluoride Bonus, $9 per fluoride paid out monthly (average bonus of $400+ per month)

NYC Hygienist Compensation
$700—$850 USD
