Company Stage & Geo Fit
- Proven experience leading marketing at a venture-backed cybersecurity startup in the $5M-$50M ARR range.
- Experience managing global operations across multiple geographies, with strong preference for companies with R&D in Israel.
Demand Generation
- Demonstrated ability to generate ROI-positive demand through a wide range of channels:
- Offline: partners, events, conferences and channel-focused initiatives
- Online: email, paid and organic search, SEO/SEM, display media, social media, communities, distributed content marketing.
- Highly analytical, metrics-driven approach, leveraging KPIs and dashboards to evaluate and optimize channel performance.
- Strong emphasis on channel marketing and partner-driven demand, with the ability to design and execute joint go-to-market programs.
- Deep understanding of buyer personas- including buying processes, media consumption habits, and pain points- and ability to translate insights into effective, targeted campaigns
- Comprehensive knowledge of the entire marketing funnel, with proven success diagnosing and optimizing online traffic and building nurture programs that drive high-quality leads.
- Skilled at leveraging modern marketing technologies to execute ABM campaigns in collaboration with Sales and Account Management.
- Ability to engage multiple personas within the buying committee using top-down and bottom-up approaches across channels.
Brand Building & Storytelling
- Proven track record of building cybersecurity brand narratives using customer and prospect insights, competitive analysis, and development of differentiated messaging and positioning.
- Strong understanding of the CISO audience and ability to communicate in their language.
- Ability to align key stakeholders around the brand vision and drive its adoption throughout the organization.
- Hands-on, scrappy approach to brand-building without reliance on expensive agencies.
- Familiarity with cost-effective methods to measure brand awareness and demonstrate ROI by linking brand to growth opportunities.
Culture / Leadership / Executive Presence
- Successful track record of building Tier 1 global marketing teams, using a structured and systematic approach to sourcing and evaluating candidates.
- Ability to quickly identify team strengths and weaknesses and foster a high-performance culture.
- Bright, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, with a positive can-do attitude and a strong desire to build and scale a business.
- Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority, particularly in partnership with Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environments.
