Description
We're Vega! One of the fastest growing start-ups in Cybersecurity - redefining the limits of Security Analytics and Operations.
We've raised a $65M Series A from Cyberstarts, Accel, Redpoint and CRV, to build a platform that will become the new AI-Native operating system for the SOC. We're already making a huge impact on some of the world's largest companies - improving their detection, unlocking their data and saving them money. Want to join us and be a part of the journey? This is your chance!
We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with deep expertise in cybersecurity to lead our go-to-market strategy and craft a compelling product narrative that resonates with our market.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
🔹 Positioning & Messaging
- Develop crisp, differentiated messaging for technically complex cybersecurity products, independently and strategically.
- Frame product capabilities around real-world security workflows and outcomes (e.g., faster triage, lower MTTR, reduced data movement cost).
- Localize messaging effectively across buyer personas (e.g., Detection Engineers, SOC Managers, CISOs, Compliance teams).
🔹 Product Launch Ownership
- Lead end-to-end execution of product and feature launches, including messaging, sales enablement, customer communications, and outbound content.
- Treat launches as strategic levers to shape market perception and accelerate sales momentum.
🔹 Sales & Field Enablement
- Build and maintain battlecards, demo narratives, sales decks, and playbooks to drive product understanding and win rates.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Solution Engineering teams to gather feedback and continuously refine messaging and assets.
- Enable effective land-and-expand strategies by aligning value props with both initial use cases and long-term growth opportunities.
🔹 Content Development
- Write or contribute to high-impact blogs, whitepapers, solution briefs, and webinars that strike the balance between technical depth and commercial value.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent tone, visual storytelling, and brand narrative.
🔹 Strategic Go-To-Market Thinking
- Collaborate on pricing and packaging strategies, tiering, and monetization plans to ensure alignment between product value and market opportunity.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BRING

- Understands how SIEM, XDR, SOAR, EDR, and security data lakes integrate into modern security stacks.
- Can translate nuanced technical functionality into competitive differentiation.
🔹 Industry Knowledge
- Deep familiarity with the security buyer and user landscape: detection engineers, SOC managers, architects, compliance teams, etc.
- Experience working alongside or competing with leading vendors such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Panther, Chronicle, Sumo Logic, or Elastic.
🔹 Execution Experience
- Has led multiple successful product/feature launches independently.
- Demonstrated impact on improving sales performance through effective enablement and messaging.
- Experience in B2B cybersecurity marketing, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
🔹 Communications Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear and compelling story to technical and executive audiences alike.
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
