We’re looking for an experienced Product Design Team Lead to join Vega and help shape the experience of a next-generation security platform. This role combines hands-on product design with team leadership. You’ll lead a small team of designers while actively designing core parts of the product yourself - from early concepts and interaction models to high-fidelity interfaces and shipped features.

Vega is building a new architecture for security operations, and design plays a central role in making complex workflows understandable and usable. You’ll help define how analysts interact with large volumes of security data, automation, and AI-driven workflows. You’ll also drive the evolution of our design system to ensure clarity, consistency, and speed across the platform.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, helping them grow and improve their craft
• Remain deeply hands-on in designing core product experiences
• Design new features and workflows from concept through production
• Identify usability gaps and continuously improve the product experience
• Guide the full design lifecycle - research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and Marketing to bring new capabilities to market
• Evolve and maintain Vega’s design system and product design standards
• Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows through user research and product analyticsStay current with design, UX, and AI product trends

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 5+ years of product design experience building complex software products
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both product thinking and high-quality execution
• Experience designing complex workflows or data-driven products
• Experience building or maintaining design systems
• Mastery of Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• High ownership and a strong bias toward solving problems
• Ability to move quickly, explore multiple design directions, and iterate fast
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience designing cybersecurity products - An advantage
• Experience with analytics, security, or other data-heavy platforms - An advantage
