What does a work environment look like at Vouch?
Vouch is a Virtual First Workplace with San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City office locations. While this role has remote-work flexibility, this team member will be based in either Chicago, New York, or San Francisco to attend in-person collaboration and team events. This role will work through our core collaboration hours (8:30 am - 2:30 pm Pacific Time.)
Role Responsibilities:
To deliver on this exciting category-defining product, we are seeking an analytical and process-oriented leader to enable activation of industry-leading insurance product features.
As a key member of the Insurance Innovation team, you will play an integral role in creating and executing activation plans, including sales and success motions, and coordinating product enablement to ensure crisp and effective delivery of insurance product features. You’ll be an expert on our target audiences, products, and competitive landscape and use this knowledge to create assets that differentiate our products in the market. This is a cross-functional role - you’ll collaborate with salespeople, brokers, marketers, designers, insurance innovation managers, actuaries, underwriters, etc, to deliver world-class insurance products.
Job Duties:
- With input from key stakeholders, develop and execute an activation plan for each newly activated insurance product feature; Coordinate with GTM and Rev Ops to establish a process for continual rollout of new insurance product features
- Establish and monitor processes to secure ongoing feedback from GTM, Product, and other stakeholders related to all insurance innovation; Use feedback to adjust
- Establish a ground-up forecast with driver metrics for each newly activated insurance product feature; Measure actual to expected performance and adjust tactics as necessary based on quantitative and qualitative data
- Coordinate and ensure all necessary underwriting training and enablement related to new insurance product features is completed and any necessary underwriting tools are established
- Develop all necessary tools, artifacts, content (including technical insurance content for external use), and training to enable GTM to deliver on key targets appropriately; Coordinate with Marketing where external communications or content is needed
- Develop, manage, and utilize an activation checklist that considers all key stakeholders of new insurance product features
About you:
- 5+ years experience in insurance or the commercial financial sector
- Basic understanding of commercial insurance coverages
- Proven track record of bringing products to market in an impactful way
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong understanding of sales communications
- Analytical thinker who uses data to make informed decisions and recommendations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize high-impact work
- Great at building trust across many cross-functional teams
- Adept at bringing creative ideas to solve ambiguous problems
- Bachelor’s Degree
Nice to have:
- Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth environments
- Experience selling or marketing insurance or financial products
- Project management experience
- Product marketing experience
