Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Intern, Instructional Design to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in creating innovative and engaging learning experiences at scale for our go-to-market team members. You’ll get to work collaboratively with the Global Field Readiness team and subject matter experts across the company to create a variety of learning and development assets including e-learning courses, job aids, live workshop materials, videos, and more.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Developing high-quality instructional content, including presentations, training modules, manuals, videos, e-learning courses, and assessments.

  • Writing clear and concise instructional materials, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.

  • Scheduling content reviews with subject matter experts.

  • Incorporating multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, audio, and video, to enhance learning effectiveness.

  • Ensuring the content adheres to accessibility standards and is compatible to a global audience.

  • Creating job guides, learning aids, and other materials to facilitate a better learning experience and retention of knowledge and skills.

  • Collaborating with the Manager, Field Readiness (Learning & Development) to design engaging activities and assignments to ensure learners get a chance to practice and refine what they learn.

  • Analyzing current learning programs for areas to improve the learner experience.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Experience with video production and editing tools, especially Camtasia.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Familiarity with visual design principles and multimedia production techniques.

  • Knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning methodologies preferred.

  • Proficiency in using authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia software, especially with Highspot and Canva.

  • Portfolio Required: In order to be considered for this position, please also include a link to a portfolio with a variety of samples of your work. This can be anything from courses, guides, slide decks, videos, infographics, job aids or anything that highlights your design expertise.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work well both independently and in teams in a remote environment.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace change.

For all applicants, the pay for this role ranges from $19-$23 USD depending on experience.
