Responsibilities

NOTE:
This role requires to work during US EST timezone (9:00am to 6:00pm EST hours).

We are seeking an exceptional Automation Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will spearhead innovation by designing, developing, and implementing robust integrations and automations. These solutions will empower the Customer Success team to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency helping them deliver business outcomes.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

• Stakeholder Collaboration

• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to comprehend their current challenges and requirements.

• Lead the solution design process through close collaboration, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Automation Solutions

• Develop automation solutions using the Workato platform to address identified challenges.

• Cultivate expertise in utilizing the Workato automation tool, leveraging this knowledge to benefit the Customer Success team.

• Technical Guidance

• Provide guidance, troubleshoot technical issues, and effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Share technical expertise gained from experience with various integration platforms to elevate the capabilities of the Customer Success team.

• Process Enhancement

• Contribute to Workato's knowledge base by documenting best practices and insights.

• Enhance internal processes and foster knowledge sharing to continuously improve team efficiency.

• Exceptional Customer Service

• Prioritize and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• A background in information systems, computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting roles, with a focus on Workato or other integration platforms

• Certification, formal training, or deep familiarity with platform administration, integration development, and platform architecture is advantageous.

• Experience in implementing integration projects involving complex enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and cloud business apps (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce).

• Familiarity with process orchestration, workflow tools, Business Process Management, Robotic Process Automation, or other automation products.

• Strong working knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and any RDBMS.

• 2-3 years of coding experience in Java/Python/Ruby, with knowledge of SOAP/XML considered a plus.
