Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Payroll Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Payroll Administration (Philippines & Korea focus; APAC support)

    • End-to-end processing of payroll for the Philippines and Korea, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory and company policies.
    • Manage payroll activities for additional APAC locations: Singapore, Australia, Japan, and India.
    • Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including government reporting, contributions, remittances, year-end tax or annualization activities, and other regulatory filings.
    • Resolve issues and discrepancies with government agencies related to payroll, taxes, and statutory contributions.
    • Provide summarized payroll reports, immediately after payroll is approved, to the General Accounting team.
    • Act as main point of contact for any clarification and/or calculation required by the General Accounting team supporting the payroll report numbers, coordinate with the payroll provider as required.
    • Act as main point of contact during statutory audit, for all payroll related support required.

    Government Relations & Statutory Compliance

    • Liaise with agencies such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and Korea statutory bodies (e.g., NPS, NHIS, NTS), as well as relevant entities in Singapore, Australia, Japan, and India.
    • Monitor changes in payroll-related legislation and proactively ensure compliance across all assigned countries.
    • Manage registration, updates, and any required compliance documentation for employees and company entities.

    Global Payroll Transformation (ADP Transition & Workday Integration)

    • Actively support the global transition to the new payroll provider ADP, including data migration, validation, parallel testing, and process documentation.
    • Participate in Wave 2 integration activities between Workday and ADP Celergo, ensuring accuracy of data flows, configuration alignment, and issue resolution.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with HRIS, Finance, People Ops, IT, and ADP project teams to ensure a smooth transition and adoption.

    Employee Experience & Stakeholder Management

    • Serve as a point of contact for payroll questions, ensuring resolutions within a 24-hour SLA.
    • Provide clear guidance and support to employees regarding payslips, deductions, statutory contributions, tax queries, and payroll changes.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regions including HR, Finance, and Operations teams.
    • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and respond to queries from auditors and management.

    Process Improvement & Documentation

    • Continuously evaluate payroll processes to identify efficiencies, automation opportunities, and improvements in accuracy and service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate payroll documentation, process guides, and SOPs.
    • Assist in troubleshooting payroll system issues and collaborate with system and vendor teams to implement corrections or enhancements.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a multi-country or multinational environment.
  • Experience dealing/assisting with statutory audit is a strong plus.
  • Strong end-to-end payroll experience for Philippines and Korea is required.
  • Working knowledge of payroll regulations in Singapore, Australia, Japan, and/or India is a strong plus.
  • Experience partnering with ADP, Celergo, or other global payroll systems preferred.
  • Experience with Workday is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
