Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy across both online and offline channels

  • Transform our Discord from a support forum into an engaging developer community where users learn from each other

  • Design and implement a global meetup and events program to foster connection and knowledge sharing

  • Create compelling content programs that educate, inspire, and showcase community members

  • Build and scale a power user/ambassador program to identify, nurture, and empower community champions

  • Collect and synthesize community feedback to inform product development

  • Collaborate with marketing, and community engineering teams to ensure a cohesive community experience

  • Represent the voice of the community within the organization

Requirements

  • Proven track record building and scaling developer communities from the ground up

  • Experience creating and executing content strategies that drive engagement

  • Demonstrated success in organizing impactful technical events and meetups

  • Strong empathy for users and ability to translate their needs into action

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Scrappy, resourceful approach to community building with ability to execute quickly

  • Data-driven mindset for measuring community impact and user engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in developer tools or technical product ecosystems

  • Background in developer relations, developer advocacy, or community management

  • Familiarity with community platforms and tools (Discord, GitHub, etc.)

  • Technical background or ability to understand complex developer challenges

  • Global perspective on community building across different cultures and regions

  • Experience creating community-led content programs and initiatives

  • History of building authentic relationships with technical audiences
